Rickie enjoys helping to create a memorable experience for each guest.
Holidays are festive occasions with tempting treats for visitors.
Special occasions can be celebrated in a variety of cozy and romantic
spots in the inn. Relax in the unique "His and Hers" hammock swings
located along the creek; the "Picket Fences" fireplace is full of aromatic candles. We are pleased to help
you organize retreats, garden tours, graduation
celebrations, and business functions. Gift certificates, very popular
for anniversaries, birthdays, and personal celebrations, are always
available.

Learning the art of hospitality through training and research led Rickie
to Salem in 1992, after an extensive bed and breakfast property search
throughout three Western states. She is very active in the tourism
industry and committed to the growth of innkeeping professionalism.
Rickie has served as the President of the Oregon Bed & Breakfast Guild,
and as a Director of the Salem Convention and Visitors Bureau Board. She currently represents B & B's statewide on the Food Service Advisory Committee.
